0-60 in 30 seconds.
Also, the guy that's shown testing this car out seems to be the seminal fashion template for hipsters.

Time that with a sundial. My 240D wasn't quite THAT slow....but it was a fat 20 seconds to 60 mph. No acceleration; just gathering of momentum.

The 3-banger 48-hp Chevy Sprints I've owned were faster than that, almost halving that 0-60 time. Hills were its kryptonite, though.

The 240D was 67 hp in a 3400 lb car; I had a small Benz mechanic's shop for anything much beyond oil changes etc. The guys there said that it was the slowest 240D they'd ever seen and could see no reason why. It ran perfectly, I sold it with 185K on the clock...and it had a four speed. Just plain slow...

"Styling gets high marks."
Hmm.
And oh dear... 30 seconds to 60?
